Bio
Carlos Lee Sullivan received his BFA from Central Washington University in Ellensburg, Washington, and his MFA from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, NM. Lee is an experienced educator, teaching primarily in studio arts at the university level. In the community, he has collaborated with artists to produce exhibitions and other artistic projects. He exhibits nationally as a painter and assemblage artist. His work lingers on the tensions in contradiction, on self-negation, in seeking resolution in the irresolvable.
